Help launch the Sydney Science Festival with a FREE night at the Powerhouse Museum!

To kick off the Sydney Science Festival and National Science Week, the museum doors will be flung open for a FREE, full-on, night-time science celebration of astronomical proportions!

This special edition of MAASive Lates will feature performances and hands-on experiences, with plenty to see, make and do while sparking your curiosity and maybe learning something along the way.

Joining the festivities will be special guest UK space scientist Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock, chatting with the ABC’s Surfing Scientist Ruben Meerman. There will also be Speed Geekmeeting, Perodic Table Bingo, a visit from the Taronga Zoomobile, and tours of the Museum’s Interface and ReCollect: Health & Medicine exhibitions.

Choose your own adventure with the MAASive Lates Experience Passport, or kick back and have a drink whilst feasting on Sydney’s food trucks!

It’s an adults-only (18+) affair, and booking is recommended to avoid disappointment. Get your tickets now!

This special edition of MAASive Lates is an Inspiring Australia initiative supported by the Australian government as part of National Science Week. For more information on the Sydney Science Week program visit
